About Your Pet AuPair
Hi, I’m Nicole! I’m the owner-operator of Your Pet AuPair. I’m cat mom to Violet & Ivy AND Mimi (that’s my grandma name) to my daughter’s dog, Daisy Mae.
I’ve lived in Harford County for most of my life and have almost always shared my home with cats & dogs. I’ve always had a very strong connection with most animals, but it wasn’t until Daisy Mae came into my life that I realized how important that connection was to me.
Pet care is my calling. I wake up every day excited about all of the fur friends that’ll greet me (with some sits & a whole lotta wiggles!)
This isn’t just a hobby for me. This is my life’s work. But I certainly couldn’t do it without my team. Say ‘hello’ to the YPA team! Every member undergoes rigorous training and is CPR & First Aid Certified cause really… safety is our love language!

Even when you’re away, your pet deserves the same level of thought & care. Our mission is to provide your pet with a totally personalized experience. That means tending to their basic needs like potty breaks and water refills. But it ALSO means going above & beyond. Mental and physical stimulation are so important for a happy, well-balanced pet. Knowing more about your pet’s personality, we customize their care so that we’re fully meeting their needs.
Playful pup? We’ve got ya!
A little shy? No problem!
Need to stick to a regular routine? That’s our jam!
Whatever their needs, we’re totally prepared.
This unique Your Pet AuPair approach leads to happy, healthy, and relaxed pets. And as pet parents ourselves, we know just how valuable that is!

Kim
Hi! I'm Kim and I'm so happy to become part of Your Pet AuPair! A little about myself: of course I've always been an animal lover, that goes without saying! I worked 4 years at a Veterinary Clinic as a Veterinarian Tech, and eventually expanded my duties to become a Boarding and Grooming Supervisor. I have training in caring for hospital boarders and animal behavior.
I have shared my home with a vast menagerie of pets over the years and now look forward to walking yours!
Rae
Hi, I’m Rae! I love hiking, traveling with my husband, and our four cats! I’ve been in the Pet Care industry since I was 19, but I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I grew up with a dog by my side, and more recently, cats too! I’ve even had a family of Rats, as well as Red Eared Sliders, and Guinea Pigs.
No matter how big or small your pet is, I will love them all the same. I can’t imagine a life without animals by my side. I took a break from dog walking for two years and missed it so very much. There’s no replacement for those wagging tails and smiling faces! I’m so happy to be back and I can’t wait to meet all of your pets!
Haley
Hi there! I’m Haley and I’ve lived in Bel Air just about my whole life. I own a Blue Nose American Pitbull Terrier and a Cocker Spaniel; Flintstone & Spanky.
I love to be outside working or with my boys playing fetch! My parents own a landscaping company and I’ve worked with them since I was 15. I have grown up with all types of pets around me. I’ve taken care of cats, birds, chickens, hamsters, guinea pigs, horses, lizards, snakes, I really could go on and I absolutely love every single dog! No matter how big, small, or goofy; you name it and I love it.
I’ve had some experience with disabled (blind & deaf) animals as well and I have house/pet sat for family friends for many years! I’m so very excited to meet your pets and love them like they’re family!
Melanie
Hi, I'm Melanie. A lifelong animal lover, I am currently the pet parent of 3 fabulous kitties; Phineas, Lucy, and Elliot. In the past we have been happy to call dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters a part of our family. I have volunteered as a dog walker in the past with the Humane Society and am currently a foster parent for Best Friends in Harford County. I look forward to working with you and your pets!
When I'm not working with animals, I am an independent agent for a small family-owned travel agency called A Scoop of Magic.
Sara
My name is Sara Clingan and I have been a Harford County resident since 2005. I grew up with a cocker spaniel, and now am a dog-mom to a Sheltie named Bee and a cat-mom to Camden and Phoenix.
I work part time as a home care Physical Therapist and am a mom to two daughters. I'm looking forward to meeting your dogs!
A.J.
Hello there! I’m AJ, I’ve been an animal lover my entire life. I’ve always had all sorts of pets growing up. I’ve gone from dreaming of being a Vet to a K9 Officer to a Dog Trainer! Anything that would keep me working with my favorite furry friends. I’ve accomplished a few things on that list and continue to strive for more! I have about 5-6 years total experience working with animals from farm work to volunteering at the local SPCAs and professional training. I continue to find ways to stay in the animal world!
I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own! My pups are Bumi - Boxer/Pit Mix, Cricket - Australian Shepard, and Sable - Shepherd/Lab Mix. I love working breeds and high drive/energy dogs! They’ve brought me so much joy, and I truly can’t imagine my life without them! I spend my free time with my animals and wife traveling and enjoying our time together! Health and Safety is my number one priority when caring for anyone’s pets, so rest assured they are in great hands! I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and spend some time with them!
Jules
Hi, I'm Jules!
I have an extensive history with a variety of animals. Outside of this job I'm a breeder-owner-handler of Cardigan Welsh Corgis. I play at various dog things like conformation dog shows, obedience, rally, tricks, fast CAT, nose work, and herding. I have worked in large kennels of 20+ show dogs of various breeds and I also have experience helping out with rescue work, reactive dogs, and other special needs dogs.
I grew up in rural northern Maine in a house with dogs, cats, tropical and saltwater fish, various rodents, a handful of reptiles, and an aviary with approximately 200 small and medium birds. I also have experience with chickens and farm rabbits (as opposed to pet rabbits - I don't know anything about pet rabbits, lol).
Mike
Hi, I'm Mike! I'm a recent transplant to Bel Air from Baltimore County with my wife and son. Currently we are fostering 2 grand-dogs, Athena & Calliope for our daughter and fellow Your Pet AuPair team member, Paige.
Dogs have always been in my life since I could barely walk and talk.I'm looking forward to meeting and caring for your pups as if they were a member of my own family.
Sue
Hi, I’m Sue! I have lived in Harford County for over 25 years with my husband Frank and our adult daughter Haley, who is a Vet Tech.
We love pets of all shapes and sizes! We are currently the proud owners of a rescued Labradoodle, 1 Cat, 2 Parakeets, 2 Sugar Gliders, 40+ Pigeons, 6 Chickens and a pond full of Fish. There isn’t much we haven’t had in our home over the years. I have never met a fuzzy face (or feathered or scaly!) that I haven’t instantly fallen in love with.
I consider it a privilege to be allowed to love on your babies and help out in any way I can.
Niandra
Hello! I’m Niandra and I’ve been an animal lover for my entire life. I currently have a dog and 3 cats but have owned hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, a bird and my favorite, rabbits!
When I’m not working here at Your Pet Aupair, I am working as a vet tech at Cat Sense Feline Hospital and Boarding in Bel Air. I am also very into plants, art/crafts, reading and overall having an adventure. I can’t wait to meet all your fur babies!
Amy
Hello! I'm Amy and I'm fairly new to the Harford County area. I'm a life long animal lover - I grew up showing cattle and my family always had a menagerie around, whether it was chickens, goats, rabbits, or barn cats. My first job was pet sitting for my neighbors, I mucked horse stalls for the opportunity to ride as a teen, and I have a degree in Animal Science. These days I only share my life with my camera shy cat, Spot. If you have a cat who's big on personal boundaries I'm sure you understand.
I look forward to meeting your pets!
Brooke

Jamie
My name is Jamie and I am a native of Bel Air. I grew up in a house full of animals and I am lucky that my 3 children have had the same opportunity. I have cared for a wide range of animals such as fish, birds, hamsters, cats and dogs, and even horses.
I enjoy being active and look forward to helping your furry family members stay active during the day as well.
My family also owns and operates Stitch Sensations.
Dr. Shannon
I was born and raised in Arizona and it was at this young age I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. My interest in animals has taken me across the country. While I was working to get into veterinary school, I was approached by a fellow co-worker about pet sitting. She had a pet sitting business on the side and needed help. This is where I found my love for watching pets and their homes while families were away on vacation. I loved it so much that I continued to pet sit until I graduated veterinary school.
I have been in the veterinary field in some capacity since 2003 and I received my DVM from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. When I moved to Maryland in 2020, I decided to carry on my calling in end-of-life care to my own business - Eternal Pawprints Veterinary Hospice. I know what it's like leaving my own cat of 17 years at my vet's clinic to say goodbye. It was very difficult and I know that I am making a difference and fulfilling my call as a veterinarian by helping our pets in their last days.
In addition to helping families and pets in their last years and moments, I have found that I still love the idea of pet sitting. When I found Nicole and Your Pet AuPair, I instantly loved her and her company. We are both Fear Free certified which means we take pet's stress and behavior to their environment very seriously. Her and her company's dedication to servicing this community is exactly what I am looking to be a part of. I look forward to meeting your pets and sharing in their cuddles and kisses.
Lindsay
Hi! I'm Lindsay, and am excited to be a part of the Your Pet AuPair team!
I grew up in Bel Air and have been a long time Harford County resident. Growing up our family always had Golden Retrievers and just an overall love for animals. As an adult, I had a border collie/shepherd mix for 16 years. I am currently the mom of two puppy rescue hound mixes, Buddy and Lucky. They certainly keep me on my toes! I have dealt with the good and the bad from puppies to senior dogs.
The best part of this job is all of the sweet dogs and cats that I get to meet and care for. As a dog owner, I've always been overly particular about who cares for my dogs when I'm unable. So I take that same mentality when I visit with your pets.
